“Where can I find real estate classes?”

“Is there a Realtor class near me?”

“How do I get a real estate license?”

Everybody who wants to change jobs or find out about a real estate career asks these questions Garden State Real Estate Academy is a real estate school that delivers real estate pre-licensing classes for people wanting their New Jersey real estate license, and also, from October, their Pennsylvania real estate license! These are all offered with live instructors and are livestreamed—so you can study in the comfort of your home! We also offer self-study online real estate licensing on our website through our partner, the CE Shop, in 33 other states. Every state has slightly different requirements, all of which are outlined on our website at www.GSREA.com

“Why should I go to Garden State Real Estate Academy for my real estate license?”

Probably the best answer to that is not one which we give, but which our previous graduates give. Just look at the comments they have made by typing “Google Reviews Garden State Real Estate Academy” in your browser. No other real estate school even comes close to the 400+ five-star reviews our previous classroom guests have left.

“What about class size?”

This was an issue from the day our current school director bought the school in 2018. He heard stories of schools that put 50 or more students on a classroom. How can that be a good learning environment? A person who attended that school with 56 people in her class failed the state exam twice and then came through Garden State Real Estate Academy. She told how the instructor at her first school was so frustrated with having so many people in his class that he told them to “Look it up on Google when you get home” when students would ask him questions.

One instructor from another school in northern New Jersey applied for a position with Garden State because his current employer is so driven by the profit motive (or is it greed?) that he has over 120 people in his real estate Zoom classes.

At Garden State, our main driver is to enable our instructors to teach at a level where our classroom guests can ask as many questions as they want, and the instructor can devote special attention to anybody he or she sees needs help. We would never even conceive of having a class with 50 people!

“What about your instructors?”

Incredibly, there are real estate instructors who have never sold a house in their life! That begs the question: how can they give advice on a real estate career if they have never had one? Of course, they would argue they are not there to give career advice; they are there to teach students how to pass the state exam.

That is true. Technically.

At Garden State Real Estate Academy, our instructors have had incredibly successful real estate careers spanning decades, each of them selling many millions of dollars of real estate. They teach everything you need to know to pass the real estate exam—but they also pass on dozens of helpful tips on how to succeed once you get your real estate license.

“How can I prepare for the state exam?”

Our entire 75-hour real estate course prepares you to pass the state exam. The problem is, by the time they get to the end of the course, some people say, “My brain hurts! I have absorbed so much material that I am having trouble recalling the important points I learned early in the course.”

We have several resources unique to Garden State Real Estate Academy that help you focus on those most important factors you need to pass the state exam:

  • Our “NJ Real Estate Exam Prep” book and a separate 2-night exam prep class draw rave reviews. We recommend that you take the 2-night class and schedule your PSI exam for the next day.
  • Our “Real Estate Math Made Easy” book is perfect for those who say their eyes glaze over when they are asked to perform a math calculation. This brand new book exclusively focuses on the real math questions and gives hundreds of examples that help you understand the principles of real estate math.
  • Our “Ultimate Real Estate Exam Test Questions Guide” is the perfect preparation for the state exam. Broken into the same categories PSI uses, it has over 1,000 exam-type questions and provides.

You can find all of these resources at https://gsreacademy.com/course-textbooks/

“When are the real estate classes?”

We can’t be everything to everybody—but we can sure try! We do have courses that you can take by Zoom or can attend in person at our Cherry Hill, Northfield and Robbinsville real estate schools. Our Jersey City real estate school teaches only via Zoom classes. Our courses are:

  • Full-time every weekday for 2 weeks from 9am to 4:30pm
  • Part-time every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am to 4:30pm for 3 weeks
  • Evenings on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:20pm to 9:30pm for 6 weeks
  • Saturdays from 9am to 4:30pm for 10 weeks.

“What does it cost to attend the best real estate school in New Jersey?”

$389. Period.

Not happy with the content of the textbooks commercially available, we wrote our own 480-page textbook specifically to help people pass the New Jersey exam. It even won a national award of excellence.

One of the best resources to help new real estate agents plan for real estate career success is the new book, “Zero to Hero: Winning strategies for new real estate agents to become SuperStars in their first year.” At an introductory price of only $25, it is the best road map you could ever invest in.
